9-Month Pictures

Katie took Addison's 9-month pictures and did a fantastic job. Ms Addison did not want to sit on her bottom so it made it more interesting. These are my favorites...Thank you so much, Katie!

ERs and Popsicles

Double ear infections, high fevers, runny nose, cough, breathing treatments and the flu (vomiting and diarrhea). Poor baby has had it all...including her first trip to the emergency room. Addison got really dehydrated from the flu symptoms (very scary and happens so fast!!!) and we had to take her in. Luckily they did not have to put in an IV-thanks to our wonderful ER nurse. He suggested putting a grape popsicle in her Pedialyte and she has been drinking it every since. Something about the sugar and the cold going down makes a good combo.

She likes orange too...

Despite the sickness, Addison is trying to crawl....

Starts with the toy...

Leaning forward....

On all fours...

Stretching....

And down on the belly...

Oh well....maybe next time.

Thank you Mom for coming in late at night to help us with our very sick baby! We were so glad you were here.

Thank you Sandy for taking care of her the day the diarrhea started and for cleaning all her clothes for me. You are so sweet and we love you!

Fun Comparison

I thought I would take a picture to see the difference between this month old picture and 8 1/2 month picture on Addison's beloved changing table.

Addison is not smiling at the camera very easily anymore...

She is much more interested in anything hanging off it.

Addison's First Words

You will have to excuse the recording quality but it was all I had to capture Addison's first words. I think she has learned to say "Mama". At least that is what is sounds like to me.

Christmas

Addison really loved her toys this year. This is Buttercup...

This is a blanket that Nanna made....

She loved her Cabbage Patch doll and playing with the Nativity set.

Julia, me, my mom, and Jodie in our new PJs.

And lastly, a video with the wrapping paper.

Addison's First Christmas Program

Well, it started on a sad note...

Can you see the crocodile tears?

At least it ended on a happy note!

It is all a blurrrr....

I know it has been a while since we have seen anyone so I thought I might fill people in. The week of Thanksgiving my friend had her first adorable baby girl. I went that weekend to see her and stayed for the weekend at my parents house with Addison. The next weekend Auggie and I took Addison to my parents' house so we could go on vacation to Orlando. Last weekend we went to pick her up. Next weekend we will go back to Missouri for the holidays so it may be a while before I get to see you all. It has been crazy and fun to see all our old friends in MO-especially since many of them had not seen Addison yet. However, I have so much laundry and things to catch up on, I am not sure when I will ever get it all done. Auggie has been such a sweetheart and has been running Chirstmas errands and doing laundry too. Our 4 year anniversary is today so Thanks and I love you, babe!

Finally to the pictures....here are some of our sweet daughter with Santa.
