I have taken several videos in hopes of posting. Addison is walking now and dancing as you will see. Things have been crazy around here, pneumonia, pinkeye, reflux again...I think she has inherited her dancing skills from me (poor baby).

A Day at the Pool
We got Addison's baby pool out over the weekend. She loved it and would have played for hours. Here are some pics of her in her adorable bathing suit and a video at the end.

Joys:
1) getting to sleep the whole night
2) the weekends (when all I have to be is a mommy and wife)
3) spending time with our adopted families here and in MO
Fears:
1) that I will wake up to a phone call in the middle of the night and it will be someone besides Auggie telling me that something has happened
2) not being a good mom to Addison
3) the dark, in general
Goals:
1) become more organized
2) to not always be in a state of "running late"
3) find a way to channel stress into productive energy
Obsessions/Collections:
1) chocolate
2) getting receipts from my husband
3) clothing in the coral color family
Facts:
1) My birthday is today
2) I consider myself very blassed to have my husband, daughter, and our puppies (I still love them even though they have not been in a post in a while)
3) this post took more thought than I originally expected

1st Birthday
Thank you to everyone for coming to Addison's party! Here are some pictures from Saturday. You may notice that Addison does not look amused at all, but she had a painful ear infection and a low grade fever. Otherwise she would have been excited.

Update
We dedicated Addison on Sunday, Mother's Day and joined Freedom Church. Auggie gave me an emerald ring (Addison's birthstone). He said one day I could pass it down to her when she is older. I thought it was sweet.

Goodbye Ear Infections!
Today Addison had her tubes put in. We took some pictures before the surgery. She was so cute in her hospital gown and was so good even though she was hungry. Afterwards was a different story. She had a rough time waking up but is feeling fine now! Thanks for all of the prayers, calls, and encouragement.
